Good to know

• A crossbreed: a mix of Maltese and Toy or Miniature Poodle, so traits vary with each dog's parents.
• Coat varies: coats can be wavy or curly; many shed little, but they need regular brushing and trims to prevent mats.
• Smart parents: the Poodle side is bright and trainable, so most enjoy learning and need some mental stimulation.
• A low-shedding coat. Some people with allergies find that easier to live with, but no breed is allergen-free.
• A designer breed, from crossing two purebred parents, so size, coat and temperament vary more than in a purebred.

Getting out with a Maltipoo

Daily walks and some play keep them content. A mix of park time and easy trails suits them.
