Good to know
- Flushing gundogs: bred to find, flush and retrieve game birds in dense cover, they enjoy long walks and retrieving games.
- Sensitive souls: docile and affectionate, they respond best to patient, positive training and may shut down under harsh correction.
- Need daily activity: they need regular exercise and something to think about, or they can get bored.
- Feathered coat: the glossy coat with feathering on chest, legs and ears needs weekly brushing, a regular look in the ears, and some tidying of the feathering.
