Good to know

• A designer cross: a mix of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle (usually Toy or Miniature), so size, coat and temperament vary with the parents.
• People-oriented: both parent breeds are affectionate and keen to please, and many Cavapoos want to be close to their people and dislike long periods alone.
• Coat care varies: coats range from wavy to curly; curlier coats tend to shed less but mat easily, so most need regular brushing and trims.
• A low-shedding coat. Some people with allergies find that easier to live with, but no breed is allergen-free.
• A designer breed, from crossing two purebred parents, so size, coat and temperament vary more than in a purebred.

Getting out with a Cavapoo

Daily walks and some play keep them content. A mix of park time and easy trails suits them.
